Review:

It’s been a long time since I’ve read a Lemmon book and this one was a good pick to jump back in. It was short (a little too short but only because I enjoyed it & wanted more), fun, and satisfying. I liked that Hazel was sassy and smart and willing to give Lynx a hard time. I liked Lynx who is ready to grow up and find himself, wanting to step out of his brother’s shadow and make his own way. Drawn together at first sight and forced to spend the night together when they get snowed in at the library, they have a chance to explore that connection. While I would have loved more – more of them learning about each other, more of them discovering themselves, more of … well, them – I enjoyed the glimpse we’re given. Maybe we’ll see more of them in future books 🙂
