Blurb:
She came to Whynot to uncover her motherโs scandal and instantly disrupted the quiet life of the local man who prefers bees to people.
Travel blogger Reese Cartier lives for the rush of discovering the unknown. Sheโs survived missed flights, bad haircuts, and questionable hostels, but nothing could have prepared her for quirky, southern town of Whynot, North Carolina. Sheโs here for one reasonโฆ to untangle the truth about her late motherโs mysterious past.
Her first clue? A dusty rented cottage on a secluded bee farm.
Her second clue? The infuriatingly handsome, maddeningly quiet beekeeper who owns it.
Eli Hart likes his life simple, which includes tending hives, bottling honey, and avoiding unnecessary conversation. Then sunshine-in-a-sundress Reese crash-lands on his propertyโliterallyโsending her drone into a tree over his bee boxes and his sanity straight into jeopardy.
Sheโs chaos. Heโs calm.
She wants answers. He wants her to stop breaking things.
But when the too-curious tenant begins to chip away at her motherโs long-buried secrets, a reluctant partnership is formed with Whynotโs hottest, most reclusive bachelor and becomes a full-blown adventure steeped in the townโs secrets, gossip, and nosiest residents.
Somewhere between Reeseโs big questions, bigger ideas, and the way she keeps tripping into his quiet lifeโฆ Eli realizes sheโs the most disruptive thing heโs ever wanted.
A grumpy-sunshine romance full of small-town meddling, slow-burn heat, and one impossible beekeeper who learns that sometimes love buzzes in when you least expect it.

Review:
Eli and Reese are fantastic together. Just like the quiet beekeeper, I was charmed by Reese. She’s adorable and just a little chaotic but with a big heart. And she’s not going to let Eli ignore the attraction between them. Love a woman that goes after what she wants. And I love Eli’s love for his bees – how he is a little grumpy about everything except them. And Reese ๐ But he’s a well loved member of the community, which says a lot about him as a person.
Bennett is so good at giving her readers stories with small town charm, blending humor and spice and warmth beautifully. Like Whiskey, Words and Whispers, this is just ALL kinds of sweet and wholesome. It’s low angst and easy to read, complete with quirky characters and a little bit of a mystery as Reese tries to figure out what’s up with her mom. It adds that smidge of something more to their romance as secrets are brought to the surface, giving Reese an understanding that she so needed.
