So I’m not sure biker stories are for me, but I keep coming back because Foster is just THAT engaging. Most of the time her heroines are sassy and strong, while the men are all alpha and protective. Every once in a while though they stray into territory that just turns me off. I’m gonna clutch my pearls here and say that the women move into bitchy instead of assertive and the men are ill-mannered (occasionally gross) a-holes. Buuuut usually if I push through it things get better, which is what happened here. In the beginning I didn’t like either Dare or Billie but within a chapter or so I found myself really rooting for them to figure things out.
Both are adrenaline junkies, always have been, but a tragic accident has caused Billie to draw into herself and try everything she can to bury that part of herself. And that includes cutting Dare out of her life. You totally feel for her as she finds herself drowning in her grief and guilt. The girl really needs to talk to a professional. Good thing her former bestie is a therapist and he’s done letting her push everyone away.
There’s a ton of big feels as Billie comes to terms with her past and embraces the person she used to be with the support of Dare and all her family & friends. There’s a few bumps along the way for them but with patience maybe they can find that HEA together.

Deirdra flew out of bed. She was not going to listen to a play-by-play of Abby and Aiden having sex. Jagger is easy-going, happy-go-lucky, and a friend to many. Quite the contrast to the stand-offish lawyer of the de Messiรฉres family. Deirdra might be a tad bit uptight, maybe even a touch snobbish, but it doesn’t take too long being around Jagger to start her taking a long, hard look at the person she’d become. She’s let her resentment and the bad memories of her childhood on the island color her view of it, the people who live their, and even her own sisters. Once she’s gotten a good look at her life, she’s not really sure she likes it all that much after all.
As Jagger helps Deirdra face her past and the two become closer, she starts to uncover a part of herself she’s buried deep. But can she let go of her trauma enough to really embrace the person she could be? Even though the story pretty much goes exactly as you’d expect it to, Maybe We Won’t is still a thoroughly enjoyable read. Foster can always be counted on to bring readers stories of heat mixed with humor and a more than generous amount of emotion and her latest shows exactly how well she does it.

Itโs not going to be easy, and definitely has plenty of potential for going horribly wrong, but sheโs gotta take that chance.
Gunner knows that Sidney is the best thing that ever happened to him and the thought of losing her friendship is unbearable. You better like your books spicy when it comes to Foster’s newest – while Archer may be grumpy, he’s also all Alpha, oh-so-very dirty-mouthed and dominant in bed. But Indi is strong and sassy, more than capable of taking him on.
The story is full of angst, so be prepared. While Indi has some family issues, Archer is very troubled and it will take a lot of work & patience to get him to the other side. But Indi and all of his friends & family will be there, showing him that he can let go of the past and embrace his future.
My favorite part of Foster’s books is always the characters, who are appealing even in their less likable moments. They know how to love and support one another, how to fight and forgive. Every book has you feeling like you are meeting old friends again, while making new ones along the way.
A lot like their relationship, Caught by Love starts off scorching and all about the hot sex but soon becomes just as much about the heart as Archer’s & Indi’s feelings deepen. It’s a journey full of bumps and bruises but, like all good things, worth it in the end.

Brant is pretty much perfect – caring, sweet, understanding, and patient (oh and hot) – which may annoy some (because seriously who is THAT perfect) but honestly the story is really about Cait. And she needs someone that is just that good to support her. She’s had a hard life and had finally found a safe place to land, only to have things shaken up with the discovery of her birth mother. And sisters! Sisters that come with awesome friends and the chance of a different future but only if she’s willing to let go of her past and take a chance.
I really enjoyed Cait’s journey. She was hesitant at first to get involved with Brant but when she does decide to give a relationship with him a try she gives it her all. It’s not immediate, she has to work on it, but with help from Brant, her sisters, and their friends she finds herself opening up and looking toward a future together on Silver Island.
I usually avoid romances that have a character that is not into relationships, mostly because they usually involve more drama than I prefer, but I also know that Foster is really good at what she does. And she once again proves it with Brant and Cait’s story. There’s a lot of emotion but not a lot of tumultuousness. Giving readers all the feels and a satisfying read, without a roller coaster ride to the happy ever after ending.
(While this is technically a stand alone, there are A LOT of characters from previous – and future – books that make an appearance. It may be confusing for some, but Foster does provide a family tree for those that want to see how everyone relates. And maybe figure out what books to add to their TBR pile ๐ )

Ya know, the biggest complaint I’ve seen so far for Foster’s newest is that her hero is just a little too awesome. And … well, I kinda get it. Dash is charming, attractive, smart, and caring. He comes to town, is charmed by Amber’s awkwardness with him, and starts an assault to get her attention that is so adorable. He also starts wooing the people of the town just because he’s that darn awesome. There’s very little fault to find with him so, while that makes a great romance hero, it does make him just a tad too perfect to be real. That doesn’t stop him from being a great book boyfriend though!
Amber is also pretty great on her own. She’s a central figure in her town and takes the time to show people that someone cares. She’s a little nervous about Dash because he’s so big and she needs (or so she thinks) someone a little more quiet. But it doesn’t take long for him to show her she’s wrong and they make a great (and giving) couple.
There’s very little drama to be found here but a lot of heart and heat. Dash and Amber together are sweet but they also set the bed on fire. If you like big characters, small town charm, and a lot of spice on your way to finding HEA, Foster always delivers.
Sweet, Sexy Heart is a stand-alone in an interconnected series but can be read by itself. You’ll likely find hints to a few stories that you’ll want to add to your TBR pile though so this is your warning ๐

I kinda feel like the blurb doesn’t do this book justice. I almost passed this one by because I was expecting a whole lot of drama but that’s not what Foster gives us at all. The emotion is there in loads but there is actually very little angst. Instead we get a touching story of loss, grief, healing, and love. I’ll be honest, I cried at least twice so be prepared.
Tank, like all the Wickeds, is a stand-up guy with a big heart. He takes his duty of protecting others seriously and that soon includes Leah and her little family. It’s beyond sweet seeing them getting closer (and those little girls wrapping ALL the Wickeds around their little fingers), supporting each other, and becoming a unit of their own.
Leah hasn’t had a lot of support outside of her brother since her father died years ago. It doesn’t take long for the Wickeds to show her what it means to be one of them. It might have happened under tragic circumstances but it gives her just what she needs.
There’s a decent amount of heat but so much more heart inย The Wicked Aftermath. They aren’t kidding that it will “tear at your heartstrings” but Foster always knows how to make everything right and give a happy ending that is truly satisfying.
