Review:
This is the first for me by this author and I quite enjoyed it. It was a fast read and, while somewhat predictable, all the characters we meet are enjoyable and I liked Chis & Olivia together. I loved Olivia’s strength but she also has a vulnerable side. One that wants to be chosen, especially by Chris. Between his career and his family, Chris has trouble trusting people and letting them in to his life. Which of course means their issues are going to bump against each other at some point, causing problems with their relationship. And while I kinda wish it had been explored a little differently (because really it was something that they should have known was going to happen and handled better), it does work and gets resolved well. It looks like this is a relatively new author and I’m looking forward to seeing where her books continue to take us.
