Review:
I adore Cameron and Juju together but oh my goodness the angst that these two bring us. I know that part of it was that they were young and Cameron didn’t really know how to handle his feelings & the situation but he sure did make things worse. And they kept at it for years!
I don’t blame Juju for her reactions, especially as the flashbacks give us glimpses into exactly how bad things got. And once they started down that path it was probably hard to come back from it but *whew*
When things are good though, they are delightful. There’s a deep understanding between the two of them and a playfulness that makes me smile. They’ve known each other for years and share so many experiences & interests. They make a great team … as long as they get out of their own way ๐
Aster may bring us years of pining, sniping, and hurt, but she also gives us a good mix of spice and connection. I love the small town charm & close family ties of her stories and I’m looking forward to seeing what we get next with Dylan’s story.
